Liskeard Wins again!

St Austell Branch, Royal Naval Association hosted a well turned out Quiz Night at the end of August at the RBL building in Duke Street.

Attended by Bodmin, and Liskeard as well as the hosts – there were 34 competitors in attendance for a fiercely contested quiz covering all aspects of general knowledge and a “Biscuit” Quiz.  Over a period of two hours it was finally announced that Liskeard had won – following on from their Croquet Match recent win.

Chocolates and biscuits were the Prizes of the day and following that,  pasties were eagerly taken and seen off with a tot or two for all including runners up and competitors.  There were copious prizes in the raffle too, ensuring that almost everyone went home with something.
