This is the ARCTIC CONVOY VODKA, a small batch Vodka (40% proof) made in conjunction with the Handmade Gin Company for the Royal Naval Reserve Officers’ Club, Liverpool (the Sea Urchins) to commemorate the sailing of the first convoy from Liverpool to Archangelsk in August 1941. (Operation Dervish).

The convoy consisted of 6 merchantmen, 1 fleet oiler and 14 escorts in relays. There were no casualties. Churchill called the Arctic Convoys “the worst journey in the world”
