Chard on recent social visit to the local South West Deer Rescue and Study centre. A great night as 11 of us attended in the unfortunate drizzle and mist however the tour was excellentand we did manage to stay dry.
Our next social meeting will be our visit to HQ Pompey on the 9th October followed then by the Trafalgar night dinner at the Lord Leaze hotel, guest of honour and speakerfor that evening will a first for Chard as it is a Lady speaker, First Officer Wren whohappened to be our Chairman's first divisional officer from 1971 whose husband was, an RN fixed wing pilot.
