Cambourne Remembrance Parade

Cambourne Remembrance Parade

Branch Member Ian Cameron was the first to lay a wreath on behalf of St Neots & District Royal Naval Association.  The veterens groups that laid wreaths were announced over a loud speaker.  There were over 400 children and cadets present plus lots of spectators.

Afterwards Ian was approached by a naval wife, herself an ex RN officer, to thank him for the Royal Naval Association presence. Her husband usually lays the wreath at Cambourne on behalf of the RN, but is currently based in Bahrain, so he will be happy to hear that there was some form of RN representation present.
