There are a number of changes to the Parade Orders for the Biennial in order to manage the security situation.

The main issue is that we are mustering in King Charles Street (not Whitehall Place) and returning there after a shorter review parade.  Parking will be in Horse Guards Road, but those with mobility issues will need to come directly into King Charles Street.

The routine for the National Council will change too, with the National Council moving out ahead of the VIPs, rather than marching out to the Cenotaph.  Remain in situ for the majority of the Parade and marching off behind the LIBOR vans.  I’ll take you through the routine at the National Council meeting.

Given the relatively short notice of the change I have taken the decision to send hard copy to all branches.

    Delighted to answer any questions.
